NC Weil
About (Biography)

NC Weil has a BA in Russian Language & Literature from University of Colorado in Boulder. and though she has no Russian ancestry she's aware of, Dostoyevsky spoke to her early on, followed by Tolstoy, Tarkovsky and others.

She has a large collection of toast cartoons.

She got married on April Fools Day, to another April Fool.

They're still laughing.

NC currently serves as President of the Washington, DC Chapter of WNBA (Women's National Book Association - she's not a world-class basketball player), a nonprofit professional association of women and men supporting the roles of women in publishing and allied fields, and promoting literacy.  This service reflects just the latest manifestation of the volunteer gene.  Her mantra is "Organization is what you make it.," and she challenges the dissatisfied to take action.  Instead of saying "They should" or "You ought to", try "I will". The corollary to many hands make light work is few hands do just the basics.

May you have sufficient silliness!
